By downloading, installing, or using Smart Finance Calc ("the App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. What the App Is

Smart Finance Calc is a suite of offline finance calculators (income tax, SIP planning, GST, salary, discounts, expense tracking, age, profit, and general/scientific calculators) intended for informational and estimation purposes only.

2. Not Financial, Tax, or Legal Advice

The App's outputs — including income tax comparisons, GST amounts, salary breakdowns, and SIP projections — are estimates based on the tax slabs, rates, and formulas built into the App at the time of your installed version. Tax law and GST rates change over time; the App is not guaranteed to reflect the latest government notifications. Nothing in the App constitutes professional financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. Always verify figures against official government sources or consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions or filing returns based on any calculation shown in the App.

3. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or reliance on the App or its calculations.

5. Your Data

All data you enter is stored locally on your device only. See our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for backing up or exporting this data before uninstalling the App or switching devices, as we have no server-side copy to restore from.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the App outside of the official Apple App Store or Google Play Store, except as permitted by applicable law.

7. Intellectual Property

The App's design, code, and branding are the property of the developer. Open-source components used within the App are licensed under their respective licenses — see Open Source Licenses.

8. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update the App (including calculation rules, e.g. new tax-year slabs) and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the App or any of its features at our discretion.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by the app store terms applicable in your jurisdiction.
