Privacy Policy
Smart Finance Calc ("the App") is developed and maintained by Jaypee ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it.
Summary
Smart Finance Calc is an offline-first app. It does not have a backend server, does not require an account, and makes zero network calls. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data — because we never receive it in the first place.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect any of the following, and the App has no technical capability to transmit them off your device:
- Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, government ID)
- Financial account numbers, bank details, or payment information
- Location data
- Contacts, photos, camera, or microphone data
- Advertising identifiers or analytics/usage data
- Crash reports sent to a third party
Information Stored On Your Device
The App stores the following data locally on your device only, using React Native's AsyncStorage (equivalent to standard app-sandboxed local storage on iOS/Android):
- Calculation history — the results you choose to save from any calculator (e.g. tax computation, SIP projection, GST bill), capped at the 50 most recent entries.
- Expense Tracker data — the monthly income figure and expense entries you manually type into the Expense Tracker tool.
This data never leaves your device, is not accessible to us or any third party, and is deleted if you uninstall the App or use the in-app delete/clear options. It may be included in your device's own OS-level backup (e.g. iCloud/Google account backup) if you have that enabled — this is standard OS behavior, not something the App initiates.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or authentication. No data is shared with any third party because none is collected or transmitted.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because it collects no data at all. The App is a general-purpose finance calculator suitable for all ages.
Permissions
The App requests no sensitive device permissions (no camera, microphone, contacts, location, or file storage access).
Your Rights
Because all data resides solely on your device and under your control, you can view, export (via device backup), or delete it at any time using the in-app controls or by uninstalling the App. There is no account or server-side data for us to provide, correct, or delete on your behalf.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised and, for material changes, the new version will be published at this same URL before it takes effect in an app update.
